ALERT LEVEL 4 UPDATE
As instructed by the New Zealand Government, from Wednesday 25 March at 11:59pm, New Zealand will be under Alert Level 4 due to COVID-19.
Construction of the Ōtāhuhu Town Centre Transformation project is not an essential service, therefore by law we are required to stop works. Over the next two days our project team will be focusing on making our work sites on Station Road and Great South Road safe and secure.
Our project management team will be continuing to plan for the next stages of construction so we can continue with the transformation when construction services are permitted again.
Temporary traffic management will still be in place around our works sites. Please remember to follow the temporary traffic management setup for your safety and the safety of others. This includes not parking on footpaths or berms.
The new width of Great South Road can no longer accommodate the turning movements of heavy haulage from Princes Street.
The advisable route for heavy vehicles heading to/from Salesyard Road and Walmsley Road, remains via Atkinson Road and Portage Road.
Remember we all need to play our part to get through these unprecedented times - please follow the new rules outlined by the government.
